Here is a nice shot from above of our sensor, cube mount, and cable protection, holding up nicely under the duress of weld slag after two months. The sensor's LED lights are on, indicating, correctly, that the piece of metal is in view. The mechanics were very happy about this, but from our perspective, two months is only getting warmed up. We think in terms of years. Our components are designed for extreme duty.
Notice that the techs have installed the sensor to protrude from the mount. Our sensors can be installed flush, too, for better protection, but in this case, since the mounting pattern of the original cube was predetermined, the techs leveraged our sensor's adjustability to sense the part better. Also, you can see the long range of our durable, steel-faced sensor.
