Dave Bird: Inductive Proximity Sensors Don’t Have to be Disposable

, by Jim Ryan, 1 min reading time

Bird points out that, really, they don't. Because Weld Dynamix's sensors, cables, mounts, and cable protection are available. One and done. No vending machines. No more burned out sensors and cables.

But don't just go rushing in. As Bird notes, you should audit first. He says, "Analyze the root cause of failure first before attacking supply-chain management issues." After that, however, he points out, "The more effort you commit to upgrading outdated weld cell sensor systems, the faster your return on investment." Bird's article even has a slideshow!
